Queen of Wands
The Queen of Wands sits enthroned with a sunflower and a cat, confident and warm. She is the card of the self-possessed woman — charisma joined to competence.
A. E. Waite《The Pictorial Key to the Tarot》(1911),用语反映了当时的时代背景;后续章节提供当代反思视角。
A dark woman, countrywoman, friendly, chaste, loving, honourable. If the card beside her signifies a man, she is well disposed towards him; if a woman, she is interested in the Querent. Also, love of money, or a certain success in business.
Good, economical, obliging, serviceable. Signifies also--but in certain positions and in the neighbourhood of other cards tending in such directions--opposition, jealousy, even deceit and infidelity.
It represents assured, expressive power: the ability to lead and to be liked for it. She appears as a capable ally or as your own warm authority. Her shadow is jealousy when her light is challenged.
