How the AI works here

1. What is generated by AI

What is not AI: your own words, the counts and dates in a report (those are calculated from your journal), the card illustrations (they are the 1909 public-domain deck), and the text of these legal pages.

2. Which models

We call these through a model API provider rather than hosting them ourselves. If we change a model, this page changes with it — the model names above are read from the running configuration, not typed into the page, so they cannot drift out of date.

3. Where your words go

To produce a reading, the dream text you wrote is sent to that model provider for the duration of the request. It is not sent anywhere else, and it is not used by us to train anything. The full picture — what we store, for how long, and how to delete it — is in the Privacy Policy.

4. Checks on generated content

Content you publish, and every dream you ask us to illustrate, is screened by an automated classifier before it is shown publicly or sent to the image model. The rules it enforces, how to report something and what we do about breaches are in the Acceptable Use Policy.

A vision model checks each generated image before it becomes available. Images that fail the check, or cannot be checked, are withheld and the image allowance is restored. Automated checks can make mistakes; you can report a concern or ask us to review a decision.

5. What this is not

A reading is a reflective and cultural lens, not a diagnosis and not a prediction. The model does not know you, it is not consistent from one night to the next, and it can be confidently wrong. It is not medical or psychological advice. If a dream is disturbing you, or you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a clinician. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.

6. Your controls

Every reading is saved to your journal and can be deleted one by one; your whole account and its content can be deleted from the account page. Your dream text and its export are free forever — we do not put your own words behind a paywall, and we do not hold them hostage to a subscription.
